Blogging Consistently for Two Years… How is it Going?

November 5, 2025 by GrowingConfident Leave a Comment

My dream of creating a Blog has been many years in the making. Honestly at times it is easy to get discouraged things are not going faster and better than I would like. However, I have a life, family, and other realities outside of just trying to grow a business. I do the best I can with the time given. If you are curious for an update about my blogging consistently for two years, then let’s talk about how is it REALLY going???

Slow Going

In the two years since I have started my Blog Growing Confident our family has experienced many changes. This has looked like three moves. A new job. A new Baby and more recently another pregnancy with Baby #7.

Since this has been our reality, I have had to prioritize what was most important during these seasons. Unfortunately going full speed ahead to grow the business is not more important that slowing down in order to put my family’s needs first. I will always gladly be a Wife and a Mom before an Entrepeneur any day.

Staying Consistent

While we have experienced a lot of change over the past two years, I have made it a point to Blog Consistently for the past Two Years. This has looked like doing a little work each day on the Blog and also putting content out weekly. Whether anyone was reading it or not did not matter. I was making a promise to myself to show up and keep rolling the ball toward the goal that I have for this Blog. Setting Quarterly Goals to Keep Me Going

Rather than throw spaghetti at the wall and hope something sticks, I have been taking this time to continue educating myself on growing a business. This helps me to know what I need to focus my limited time on when I do sit down to work. Having goals in place also limits me from getting distracted by the shiny object syndrome. Thus, causing me to jump ship on what I am working on to try something new that I have convinced myself may be “better” to focus my time on.

Taking roughly 90 days to focus on one new thing that will grow the business helps me to stay the course and not give up. It is also very encouraging to look back and see the traction I have made by continually chipping away at things a little at a time.

Thank you for reading,

I hope this encouraged you to keep going with whatever goals you may have for yourself. Even if they seem like they are moving at a snail’s pace.
