List of Clean + Age- Appropriate Television Shows for Kids

June 4, 2025 by GrowingConfident Leave a Comment

Summer is officially here which means hot days and usually more Screen Time. To help limit our daily Screen Time we do Routines before Screens. This looks like completing any Daily Chores and Habits we are working on for the month. If the weather permits, we try to spend around two hours+ outside in the morning before it gets too unbearably hot. Completing one item from the list of What My Kids Want to Do This Summer and since we Homeschool, year-round completing the work that needs to be done that day.

Over the years we have constantly adjusted the list of clean + age- appropriate television shows our kids are allowed to watch. We do not appreciate shows with unkind words. Which for my young kids could be stupid, shut up, dumb, and that is not counting curse words. Shows where the kids are disrespectful to their Parents or where they are portrayed an obstacle to overcome or disobey. Shows that treat others unkindly, etc. However, with all that said I would also like to add To Each Their Own. I am NOT saying everyone should have the same rules we do and only let their kids watch what my kids watch. This is also by no means an exhaustive list rather just a few things we currently allow our kids to watch. For those looking for a list of clean + age- appropriate television shows for kids then I hope you find this helpful.
